Your account

You need an account to post, and you are responsible for what you publish from it. One person, one account, 13 or older.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

By creating an account you agree to this end-user licence agreement. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Remi. You may not post, send or share:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech or slurs of any kind.
• Sexual, pornographic, violent, gory or otherwise obscene material.
• Content involving minors in any unsafe or sexualised way.
• Illegal content, spam, scams, or impersonation of another person.
• Dangerous food advice presented as fact.
• Photos you do not own the rights to, or food you did not actually cook.

We screen text for abusive language automatically, reported content is hidden immediately, and we review every report within 24 hours — removing the content and ejecting the cook who posted it. Accounts that break these rules can be suspended or deleted without notice.

Reporting and blocking

Every post and every profile has a ••• menu with Report and Block. Reporting hides the content right away and sends it to us for review. Blocking removes that cook's posts, comments and messages from your app instantly and alerts us to review their behaviour. You can manage your blocks at any time in Settings, and reach a human at Support.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post. You give us permission to store and display it inside the app so other cooks can see it. Delete a post, or your account, and that permission ends.

AI features

Receipt scanning, fridge inventory, expiry estimates, substitutions and chef-level feedback are automated guesses, not guarantees. Use your own judgement about whether food is safe to eat.

Ending it

You can leave whenever you like from Account. See Privacy for what happens to your data.
